  2. {Prepare 4 of medium size Koi washed well.

  7. {Get 1 tsp of green chilli paste.

  9. {Take 1 Tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
  10. {Prepare 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
  11. {Make ready 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder.
  12. {Prepare 1/2 tsp of garam masala powder.
  13. {Take as needed of orange juice and few extra oranges for garnish.
  14. {Make ready of to taste Salt.
  15. {Make ready 2 Tbsp of oil.

Instructions to make Koi Komola:

  1. Marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt for 10 mins. In a wok heat 1 Tbsp oil and fry the fish until golden in colour. Set aside.
  2. In the same wok add 1 Tbsp oil and add chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 mins. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste and sauté for 2-3 mins. Add the fried fish and stir for 1 mins.
  3. Add turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, salt and sauté well for 2 mins. On low flame add orange juice and continue to cook on low flame for another 5 mins. Add garam masala powder and turn off from the flame. Cover for 10 mins to let the spices cook into the fish.
  4. Garnish with oranges and serve with steamed rice.
