- Pour reasonable amount of Palm oil into a pot and heat. Add onions and periwinkle(allow to heat for about 3minutes). Add ogbono then pour in little water(allow to boil for 5 minutes). Add steamed meat and fish and pour in desired amount of water (allow to boil for about 5 minutes). Add crayfish, 2cubes of maggi and salt to taste (leave to boil for 15-20 minutes). Add bitter leaf (don't turn soup immediately) and allow to boil for another 3 minutes..
